About Magda Grzyb

From a very young age, I have always been passionate about art, animation, and storytelling. Being the shy kid I was as a chid it was easier to express myself through drawing a picture or writing a story. As I grew older and kept improving my skills I have decided to become an animator. That way, I could tell my own stories one day and hopefully reach and inspire other people who wish to do the same.

My works combine three of my main passions: Drawing, cartoons, and storytelling. As such, I take full advantage of the stylization that cartooning has to offer in order to  create quirky characters and a situation to put them in, be it humorous, poignant or simply relatable to the human experience. I like to convey a narrative through a single image. Although I prefer to draw digitally lately, I never forget my roots in the traditional medium of pen, pencil and paper and always make sure to keep up those skills. I also frequently experiment in graphic design and traditional tools such as oil pastels, colored pencils, and painting (oil, acrylic, and watercolors).
